During this week the best sailors from all over the world will compete against each other. The first Finn Junior World Championship was held in Melbourne in 1999. Since then the event has been known the Silver Cup.

In 2013, Jorge Zarif from Brazil won the Silver Cup in Italy. Jorge Zarif also won an historic Finn Gold Cup Senior World Championship in the same year, ahead of Ed Wright of Great Britain and Pieter-Jan Postma of The Netherlands, in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Silver Cup is the highlight for the Finn sailing calendar for the youngest Finn sailors and is widely regarded as one of the foremost sailing events in the World.

Registration for the 2014 Finn Silver Cup has been opened. You can now register for the Silver Cup. Go to the event page at www.wsvh.nl to register your entry.
