The following files are offered for information only and describe the current recognised practice in measuring hulls, sails and masts at regattas and the equipment needed to acheive this. These should be read in conjunction with the current Class Rules and the ISAF Equipment Rules of Sailing.

The Class Rules of the International Finn Class are managed by a Technical Committee.

Class Rules
The clas rules are administered by ISAF under guidance from the IFA. Rule changes are presented to the IFA AGM for voting by National Representatves before being approved and passed into the Class Rules by ISAF. The Finn Class Rules are no longer produced in printed format. To obtain a copy free of charge, download the most recent version from the ISAF website. See the download page for relavant links.

Measurement
Each Finn must have a valid measurement certificate before it is eligible to race. Most Finns will come fully measured from the builder. If you need a Finn measurerd or checked please contact one of the approved IFA Measurers. See List

Measurement form
The measurer will complete your measurement form, which should be presented to the inspecting authority when requested at events.
