The 2020 Finn Gold Cup will be organised by the Club Nàutic S'Arenal from 8-16 May in the Bay of Palma, Mallorca. Entry for sailors and coach registration is now open through the event website at 2020.finngoldcup.org.
Here is a New Year treat for Finn sailors everywhere. The 2019 Finn Gold Cup in Melbourne delivered fantastic imagery and close competition. The conditions for the medal race were everything every Finn sailor dreams about, big wind, wind waves, sunshine and a huge battle between giants. It was an epic end to an epic year of racing.
The temperature in Melbourne is getting almost as hot as the competition at the Finn Gold Cup, but the lack of wind on the third day meant all racing was cancelled mid-afternoon on Wednesday. Three races are now scheduled for Thursday.
