The first edition of FINNFARE in 2019 has been published with the amazing photo of Giles Scott bursting through a wave on the final reach during the medal race in Palma, brilliantly caught by Junichi Hirai of Bulkhead Magazine.
The Finn class remains focussed and committed to ensure the Finn is re-selected for the Olympics in 2024. It rejects the assertion that the Finn has had its time and should be retired. The relevancy of the Finn to the Olympics has more support now than perhaps ever before.
Over the coming 14 months the final 10 places for Finns on the starting line at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be determined. With the exception of the African continental qualifier, the full qualification system for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games has been published by World Sailing.
This year we have so far collected more than 250 Finn Class events. These were provided by National Classes worldwide, so please check all details with them as errors are possible.
Entries are invited for the 2019 Finn Open and U23 European Championship in Athens, Greece.
